Saskatchewan Incentives for Renewable Heat
SHIFT – Solar Heating Incentive For Today, operated by Saskatchewan Research Council aimed at commercial, industrial or institutional sectors to install renewable heat. This program ended in March 2011 along with Natural Resources Canada Renewable Heat program.
In June 2011 the federal government announced $400m for Eco Energy in new budget. Natural Resources Canada currently working on the Eco Energy Program

Saskatchewan Incentives for Renewable Power
SaskPower Net Metering Program
SaskPower Small Power Producers Program – Generate up to 100kW of electricity and sell back to SaskPower at $0.09609 per kWh (2011 rate with 2% pa escalation)
Prior to April 2011 Saskatchewan Research Council was offering up to $35k of eligible costs of reimbursements for net metering. They are currently not accepting applications.
Saskatchewan Commercial Incentives for Geothermal
Saskatchewan Research Council is offering business and farmers up to 15% (max $100k) rebate for geothermal installations. This is only applicable for new buildings with no access to natural gas or existing buildings that are currently heated with electricity or other sources. Learn More
